But keep in mind that all organic compound leave behind residues, and repeated use may leave some of this alcohol absorbed in the hoses and vaccum lines. How much and is that amount damaging, I don't know, nor do I care to use something that is completely uneccesary when tap water works fine.
Really, why do so many people think that you have to spray something other than water on your engine to get it clean?
You have to be extra careful using the heavy duty degreasers and simple green, they eat away paint and corrode metal if not washed away immediately
Pickup some FOAMY Engine bright and a couple different size brushes, and go to town.
The foamy engine brite is the BEST shit out there, safe on paint and does a great job.
Indeed...when i clean my motor i cover up my intake filter, distributer, and BE CAREFUL AROUND THE VALVE COVER...one thing as well when im about to was her down i start the car and let her idle.
