Default Lowering cd5 2 door

Hi. I just recently bought a 1996 accord and love the car. When I bought the car it came already lowered on kyb shocks and coilovers sleeves. The car drives nice however over slight to moderate bumps, the upper control arm hits he fender. Does anyone have a fix to this problem?

cut the strut towers where it hits and weld on a higher cap. or raise the car up an inch.
